Former Professor and unit head, Department, Nephrology at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow 17 years’ experience of managing kidney disease and kidney transplantation. Involved in the care of more than 3000 kidney transplant recipients. Instrumental in establishing kidney transplantation program at AIIMS Jodhpur and KGMU Lucknow Published more than 200 research publication and book chapters. Dr. (Prof) D.S. Bhadauria is the Director of the Department, of Nephrology at Medanta Lucknow. He is a former Professor and Unit head, of the Department, of Nephrology at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He acquired experience of 17 years in the field of kidney diseases and transplantation and involved in the care of more than 3000 kidney transplant recipients till now at the Department, of Nephrology at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He was instrumental in establishing kidney transplantation at AIIMS Jodhpur and KGMU Lucknow. Dr. Bhadauria has more than 200 publications including research articles in national and international journals, Book chapters, Abstracts, and review articles. He has authored chapters in 12 books. He is an Assistant Editor of the Indian Journal of Transplantation and an Editorial Board Member World Journal of Transplantation. He is currently Treasurer of the Indian Society of Nephrology, Joint Secretary of the Indian Society of Nephrology (North Zone), and Executive Council Member of the Indian Society of Hemodialysis. He is also an expert member of the DNB, UPSC, and UPPSC Exam/Selection Committee. He was awarded as ICON of Health award by the Times of India group in 2019.
