He is specialized in open as well as thoracoscopic (VATS) surgery for Pneumothorax, infective lung diseases (Empyema, Aspergilloma & other post-tubercular sequelae) and holds special interest in tracheal reconstruction and lung preservation surgery. He has got an excellent academic background and was awarded “President`s Gold Medal” in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery from National Board of Examinations (NBE). He was also the recipient of “Torrent`s Young Scholar Award” by Association of Surgeon`s of India in 2015. He also did his “clinical observership” in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai to gain valuable experience in the field of Thoracic oncology. Dr Mohan is a National Board-certified Thoracic surgeon and is known for his compassionate behavior & dedicated clinical care. He is also the member of various national and international thoracic surgical societies.He is actively involved in several research projects in Thoracic surgery and is the lead author of many original articles in reputed national and international journals.
