Shah has an impressive record of over 6,000 major orthopaedic surgical procedures to his name, including more than 4,000 primary and revision joint replacement surgeries. He achieved a significant milestone by performing the first Robotic Knee Replacement surgery at Medanta Hospital in Lucknow. In 2005, Dr. Saif joined the prestigious Rockland Hospital in Delhi alongside Padma Shri awardee Dr. P.K. Dave, former Head and Director of AIIMS, Delhi. Over a remarkable 16-year tenure, he honed his expertise in orthopaedic surgeries under Dr. Dave’s mentorship, mastering advanced surgical techniques. During his time at Rockland Hospital, Dr. Saif pursued both national and international fellowships in joint replacement surgery. He trained under eminent experts, including Professor Haiko Graichen from Germany and Dr. Pradeep Sharma in New Delhi, further refining his skills in the field.
