Trained nearly 30 fellows in paediatric hematology oncology Dr. Satya Yadav treats children with blood and cancer disorders at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, India. His clinical focus is primarily Paediatric Leukemia and Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT). He has a goal to make BMT and Cell Therapy available and affordable to all those who need It. After finishing his training in Paediatrics from Delhi he went to Sydney, Australia, and worked as a fellow (2002-2005) in Paediatric Hemato-Oncology at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. He has an experience of over 31 years and he set up successful Paediatric BMT programs at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Fortis Gurgaon and Medanta Hospital. He along with his colleagues has been involved in performing over 1000 Blood & Marrow transplants and Cell Therapies He has performed Matched related & unrelated donor transplants/Cord blood transplants and Haplo Identical Bone Marrow transplants for thalassemia, sickle, leukemia, aplastic anemia, primary Immune deficiency and metabolic disorders. Cell Therapy including CAR-T Cell therapy, Virus specific T-cell therapy and Donor lymphocyte infusions is another key area of interest He has published in various national and international journals with over 1000 citations. He has been a teaching faculty for fellowship of National Board of Examinations (FNB) in Paediatric Hematology Oncology for >10 yr. He has trained more than 30 fellows In Paediatric Hematology Oncology who are working as consultants within and outside India.
